October First Friday: Movie Night! featuring ‘1988’

We invite you to the final BCAT public showing of the thought provoking, climate change documentary '1988' produced by youth this summer as part of the Buffalo Youth Media Institute. This youth-led film explores the climate crisis and what may happen if society does not take action. Screening times: 6:15 6:45 7:15 Film is approximately 22 minutes. Refreshments will include popcorn and some of your favorite movie theater snacks! Stop by for the film and take a walk around the gallery before we take down the artwork from this summer's Youth Arts Program.

Spotlight on Youth

All art forms welcome. Spotlight On Youth (SOY), presented by Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology, provides young people (ages 13-19) in the WNY area a safe and supportive space to share their artistic talents. 5:30 - Check-in and free pizza 5:30 - 6:00 - Open mic sign-ups 6:00 - 7:30 - Open mic performances begin. All art forms welcome, as long as the content is respectful.

MLK Jr. Holiday BCAT Closed

We will be closed in observance of the MLK Jr. holiday. There will be no Workforce Development classes and no Youth Arts programs.
