Rather, you actually had to, well…shoot pictures and we couldn’t be happier to welcome professional photographer and College Street Gallery Curator-In-Chief, Michael Mulley to BCAT. The fundamentals, history and future of photography though the eyes of our youth is a wonderful sight to behold.
Buffalo Youth Media Institute (BYMI)

This course is part of a series of courses that presents art and its practice, not only as a creative outlet, but also as an essential asset in building and developing an individual’s life. Students will start with drawing exercises designed to build technical skills and connect skill to creative thinking, hand/eye coordination, mastery, control and progression. Through video, lecture, critique and demo, students will be able to utilize portraiture to explore contemporary ideas about branding, marketing, public relations and identity and its role in AMP – autonomy, mastery, purpose – three major factors in motivating people to be innovative and productive.
Audio Engineering
Instrutor: Carl Reeves
The production class focuses on empowering the youth with communication and technical skills to create and put together a musical composition. Moreover, the program balances team and team building.
