Youth Arts Program

The Youth Arts Program at Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology (BCAT) provides a safe, nurturing and inspiring after-school environment that gives high school students the opportunity to express themselves freely and creatively through digital media, fine arts and music.

We are honored to serve Buffalo Public School teens currently attending Bennett, Burgard and East High Schools and the Health Sciences Charter School, who are invited to join BCAT’s after-school Youth Arts Program in our state-of-the-art building on the edge of downtown Buffalo. At BCAT, students will make new friends and learn new music, art and design skills.

Our students stay engaged throughout their academic journey and, inspired by their experiences, remain in school and build expectations for a future beyond high school.

We collaborate with renowned artists and top arts organizations to ensure our students have access to the best design and media training to prepare them for the many pathways that await them after high school.

Our Digital Media Studio, Fine Arts Studio and Music Studio offer cutting-edge courses in digital photography, musical arts, poetry, spoken word, mural art, portraiture, collage, still-life painting, audio/video production and more…

High school seniors who attended BCAT had a 98% graduation rate.
